DO NOT take Aspirin, Fish oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 48 hours before your appointment. Tylenol is fine.
DO NOT drink alcohol or caffeine 24 hrs before and 24 hrs after your treatment. Both alcohol and caffeine are blood thinners and can result in poor pigment retention/ more bleeding.
DO NOT use Retin A, Retinal, Renova, Glycolics around your brow area for AT LEAST 14 days prior to procedure.
DO NOT book any major events (wedding, vacation, social event) during the 2 weeks after procedure, a little peeling or flaking will occur.
Avoid facials, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks prior to appointment and 2 weeks following procedure.
The procedure area must be free of all irritations including ingrown hairs, rashes, blemishes, eczema, psoriasis ect.
DO come to your appointment with your brows grown out! I prefer to see how they naturally grow, and will clean them up for you at your appointment. If you would like to clean them up or tint them beforehand, please do so 7 days prior to your appointment.
DO come in with your brows penciled in how you like them! The area will be properly cleaned and re-drawn but this gives me a general idea of the shape you would like.
Be prepared for the color intensity to be sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to 14 days
Permanent cosmetic enhancements normally require multiple application sessions. To achieve the best results, you will be highly encouraged to return for at least one touchup procedure 4-6 weeks after the initial appointment (unless it is stated otherwise).

Your new permanent makeup will go through several phases during the healing cycle.
If eyes and/or brows are sore or swollen you may apply a cold compress. The area may appear more swollen the next morning, this is normal and will subside throughout the day.
The pigment will appear sharp and/or dark immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin and has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin.
Once healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.
• Avoid picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment
• Stay out of the sun, tanning booths, sauna, steam room, pools, hot tubs, recreational water activities and direct contact with animals on procedure area until fully healed and no sign of scab.
• Avoid direct water pressure on the tattoo in the shower until you are fully healed and there is no sign of scab. You can still get the tattoo wet when washing your face but use caution to avoid wiping the scabs off.
• Avoid exercise / sweating. It is recommended not to sweat for the first 5 days after the procedure. Sweat is salt and can prematurely fade the treated area/ will cause poor or no pigment retention.
• Do not book any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck for at least 4 weeks following your procedure
• Avoid picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment
• Flaking and shedding will occur in about a week and will continue for another few days. It’s not as noticeable as you think it’s going to be. Let scabs flake naturally and do not peel or scratch at the area.
• Do not apply make up, cleansers or strong skin care products on the area for two weeks until the shedding of the skin is finished and no sign of scab.
• The color will fade about 30% after the shedding process, this is completely normal. You will need a touch up 4 to 6 weeks after procedure to fill in any discoloration caused by heeling and shedding process.
• Contact your doctor immediately if the procedure area shows any symptoms or sign of infection, including, but not limited to red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site.
• You must come in for your Touch Up/Color Boost apt within 60 days or additional charges may apply.

Permanent cosmetic enhancements normally require multiple application sessions. To achieve the best results, you will be highly encouraged to return for at least one touchup procedure 4-6 weeks after the initial appointment (unless it is stated otherwise).
Avoid supplements with blood thinning effects. Supplements that have blood thinning effects include dong quai, fish oil, garlic, ginger, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, green tea, red clover and vitamin E, and should be discontinued 7 days prior to getting a cosmetic tattoo. These supplements may increase bleeding especially if you’re taking blood thinning medications such as warfarin or non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs resulting in poor pigment retention.
Avoid any blood thinning medications. A number of medications make your blood less likely to clot (“thinner”) like aspirin, Midol, Exedrin, and NSAIDs ( Advil, Motrin, Naproxen, Aleve). These medications should be discontinued 7 days prior and 1 day following your appointment. If you need to take something for pain opt for Tylenol (acetaminophen). Coumadin and Plavix also have blood thinning effects but it is not recommended to discontinue them due to their medical necessity. You should be aware of an increased risk of bruising if you’re taking them.
If you wear eye contacts, please take them out before coming in and bring a pair of glasses with you. You can use clean or new contacts 48 hours after procedure.
Any tinting should be done at least 7 days prior to procedure.
You must have ALL lash extensions removed before you come in for your appointment. If there are ANY lash extensions left on your eyelashes your appointment will result in being sent home and asked to reschedule .
You must stop using Latisse or any lash enhancement products 14 days prior to procedure. Please inform me how often you have been using any of these products before your appointment.
Botox, Fillers or Dysport must be done at least 14 days prior to your appointment. It takes 2 weeks to settle in the skin. Receiving either within 14 days of your appointment will result in being sent home and asked to reschedule.
Do not drink alcohol or excessive caffeine 24 hrs before and 24 hrs after your treatment. Both alcohol and caffeine are blood thinners and can result in poor pigment retention.
Do not book any major events (wedding, vacation, social event) during the healing period
You should not wear any makeup (mascara, eye shadow or powders) on area until fully healed and no sign of scab.
Although there are no medical evidence that tattooing would have an effect on an unborn child, we don't know for sure. So we suggest you err on the side of caution and come back after the baby is born and you are no longer nursing. Item description

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do. Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
